Find St. Francis County Booking Photos

St. Francis County jail mugshots are published with current jail roster profiles when a booking photo is available. People trying to find St. Francis County booking photos should start with the sheriff's current inmate roster, then check the recent-release view for a person who just left custody. Booking photos are jail records, not proof of conviction, and court records after arrest may show a different outcome than the booking charge.

St. Francis County Jail Mugshots

St. Francis County publishes booking photos on the official sheriff roster. Roster cards show a mugshot thumbnail, and profile pages show a larger public booking image. The confirmed online sources are the current inmate roster and the 48-hour release list. No separate official mugshot gallery, daily booking-photo PDF, or historical booking-photo archive was located in the research.

The roster is operated through the St. Francis County Sheriff's Office website and is tied to the St. Francis County Detention Center. It should not be used for BOP prisoners at FCI Forrest City Low or FCI Forrest City Medium. Federal BOP locator results do not publish public mugshots.

Find St. Francis County Booking Photos

The sheriff's roster disclaimer page routes users to the current roster and the released-inmate view. For a person now in custody, use Current Inmates. For a person who may have just left jail, use the 48-hour release list. If the name does not appear, check whether the person moved to state, federal, or immigration custody before assuming no record exists.

  1. Open the official roster entry page and choose Current Inmates or Released.
  2. Use Search By Name, or sort by date when checking recent bookings.
  3. Open View Profile to see the larger booking photo and booking fields.
  4. Call 870-633-2611 if the person is missing from the roster or the record needs confirmation.
  5. Use a public-records request route for older jail booking records not visible online.

Current Roster Photo Cards

The official current inmate roster screenshot shows that St. Francis County jail mugshots appear beside booking details on public roster cards.

The photo sits with the booking number, age, booking date, charges, bond field, and profile link, so it should be read as part of a jail booking record rather than a court disposition.

What Booking Photos Show

A St. Francis County booking photo is only one field in a larger jail record. The inspected roster profile showed one front-facing booking image. It did not show multiple angles, a full date of birth, height, weight, housing unit, court date, warrant number, statute code, or formal case number.

Are Jail Mugshots Public Record?

Arkansas FOIA generally makes public records open for inspection and copying by Arkansas citizens during regular business hours, subject to exemptions. The local sheriff FAQ says jail booking records may be public under Arkansas FOIA. That local statement supports access to booking records, but it also lists limits for active investigations, sealed or expunged matters, personnel records, and juvenile offender or suspect records.

Public-record authorities:

Arkansas FOIA, Ark. Code Ann. ยง 25-19-105 - public records are generally open unless an exemption applies.

Arkansas detention facility standards - jail records and identification processes include intake and population recordkeeping.

St. Francis County Sheriff FAQ - jail booking records may be public, but some categories are restricted.

How Long Mugshots Stay Online

The confirmed online retention is narrow. Current inmates appear on the current roster. Recent releases appear in the sheriff's 48-hour release view. No official local statement was found for how long profile pages or booking photos remain accessible after that release window, and no official historical mugshot archive was located.

What is and is not public: Recent roster photos are public when posted by the sheriff. Juvenile, sealed, expunged, active-investigation, or non-roster records may be withheld or require direct review.

Request a St. Francis County Booking Photo

If a booking photo is not on the current roster or 48-hour release list, the next official route is the Sheriff's Office or Detention Center. The sheriff FAQ says jail booking records may be public, but the research did not locate a St. Francis County FOIA web form, fee schedule, photo-specific request policy, or processing timeline. A narrow request should include the person's full name, approximate booking date, and the fact that the request is for a jail booking record or booking photo.

Mugshot Removal and Sealing

The sheriff site did not publish a booking-photo removal request process. Arkansas sealing information from ACIC/DPS says forms are filed with the court where the person was sentenced. After a judge approves and files the order, the clerk forwards it to ACIC. ACIC states that Arkansas law allows 30 days to complete an Order to Seal from the date ACIC receives it.

A sealed court or criminal-history record does not automatically prove that an old web page has been removed. For charge outcomes, use court records after a jail arrest. For custody status and roster fields, use jail inmate records. Use court and agency channels for official record correction.

Federal and State Mugshot Differences

St. Francis County has two federal BOP facilities, but BOP custody is separate from the county jail roster. The BOP locator can show register number, name, age, race, sex, release date, and location or status, but it does not publish public mugshots. ICE custody also uses its own locator. A person held at FCI Forrest City Low or FCI Forrest City Medium should be searched in BOP, not on the sheriff's mugshot roster.

Sheriff App and Mugshots

The St. Francis County sheriff app listings on Apple and Google Play advertise an inmates feature along with most wanted, sex offenders, alerts, FAQs, and tips. The store listings do not prove an app-only mugshot database. The confirmed official online mugshot channel remains the sheriff's public roster and recent-release list.
